David A. Granger is a Guyanese politician and military officer. He served as President of Guyana, from 16 May, 2015 to 2 August, 2020, as well as, Commander of the Guyana Defence Force, National Security Adviser, from 1990 to 1992, and Leader of the Opposition of Guyana, from July 2012 to 16 May, 2015.

He is married to academic and civil servant Sandra Granger (born Sandra Marie Chan-A-Sue), with whom he has two children.
