Robert Prosky was an American actor.

Robert was the son of Helen (Kuhn) and Joseph J. Porzuczek. He was married to Ida Hove, until his death, with whom he had three children, including actors John Prosky and Andy Prosky.

Robert’s maternal grandfather was Joseph Kuhn (the son of Adam Kuhn and Helen Hubert). Joseph was Polish. His parents were from Gdańsk.

Robert’s maternal grandmother was Anna Wojziechowski (the daughter of Andrew Wojciehowski and Mary/Aleany Lewandowski). Anna was born in Pennsylvania, to Polish parents.
