Beverley is the daughter of Sharon and David Mitchell. She is married to accountant Michael Cameron, with whom she has three children.

Beverley’s paternal grandfather was Herbert Lee Mitchell (the son of Neutral Herbert Mitchell and Pearl Estella Kissee). Beverley’s grandfather Herbert was born in Colorado. Neutral was the son of Everard Barnett Mitchell and Mary Winnifred/Winnie Pafford. Pearl was the daughter of Jefferson Davis Kissee and Juliet F. Cunningham.
