Mike Enzi was an American politician and accountant. A Republican, he served as Mayor of Gillette, from January 6, 1975 to 1983, and a U.S. Senator from Wyoming, from January 3, 1997 to January 3, 2021.
Mike was the son of Dorothy M. (Bradley) and Elmer Jacob Enzi. He was raised in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Mike was married to Diana Buckley, until his death, with whom he had three children.
While he was sometimes listed as an Italian-American member of the U.S. Congress, he was not of Italian descent.
