Robbie Keane is an Irish professional footballer and coach. He is known as one of the greatest Irish footballers of all time. A striker, he played for Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Inter Milan, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Celtic, West Ham United, LA Galaxy, Aston Villa, and ATK, and the Republic of Ireland national team. He was also captain of Tottenham, LA Galaxy, ATK, and the Ireland team. He was manager of ATK and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Robbie is the son of Anne and Robert “Robbie” Keane. He is a first cousin of professional footballer Jason Byrne. He is also a second cousin of singer Morrissey. Robbie’s grandfather, Thomas Nolan, was Morrissey’s father’s cousin.

Robbie is married to television presenter and Miss Ireland contestant Claudine Palmer, with whom he has two children, one of whom is also a professional footballer.

Robbie is not related to Irish football legend Roy Keane.
