David Bakhtiari is an American professional football player. An offensive tackle, he played eleven seasons with the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He is 6′4″.

His father runs a real estate business. His brother is professional football player Eric Bakhtiari. David is married to Frankie Shebby, with whom he has a daughter.

David’s paternal grandfather was Afrasiab Assad Bakhtiari (whose mother’s maiden name was Zafar). Afrasiab was of Iranian origin.

David’s paternal grandmother was Mildred Elaine Stoneson (the daughter of Ellis Stoneson and Bertha Kristbjorg Thordarson/Thordeson). Mildred was born in California, of Icelandic descent. Ellis was the son of Þorsteinn Þórsteinsson/Stone Stoneson and Ingibjörg Einarsdóttir.
