Echosmith is an American indie pop band. They formed in February 2009 in Chino, Los Angeles, California. The band has been composed of siblings, Noah, on bass, lead and backing vocals, synthesizer, and programming; Sydney, on lead and backing vocals, rhythm guitar, piano, and keyboards; Graham, on drums and percussion; and, previously, Jamie Sierota, on lead guitar, keyboards, synthesizer, programming, and lead and backing vocals. They are known for their song “Cool Kids.” They were originally named Ready Set Go!
The siblings were raised Christian. Their father is a worship leader.
Echosmith’s paternal grandfather is named Harold Sierota.
