I think this might be James T. Lillis. There only seems to be two who were born in New York at the right time, and this one doesn’t appear on the 1940 census with his parents:

Could this be her great-grandparents John and Dorothy?:

I don’t think it’s clear that she has English ancestry, she could easily be just Irish, Polish, and Swiss-German, maybe + some other Catholic ethnicity.
We really should stop linking facebooks. In fact, I’ll delete these two.
I think this might be Stephen Moday, but I’m not sure:

Bablah, can you determine Sophia’s maternal grandfather’s ethnicity and/or find more about his ancestors?
I also think that’s Steven.
I think this is the man listed as father on that census:

I don’t think the spouse is the same woman
This is likely this man’s passenger record

It says they’re from Maniow, but there’s more than one, and I’m not sure if any of them were under Russia.
Her paternal grandfather is Richard A. Lillis and her paternal grandmother is Charla Jo (not sure what her maiden name is).

Sophia is listed in Richard’s obituary as his granddaughter.
Thank you! I suspected that but didn’t want to add it to the page (I hadn’t seen the obituary).
Richard’s middle name was Albert. He was the son of James T. Lillis and Marie V. Marie was French.

David is definitely her father. He says so on his Facebook.
