Zach Wilson is an American professional football player. He is a quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL).

Zach is the son of Lisa and Michael Wilson. He has Native Hawaiian ancestry on his father’s side.

Zach’s maternal grandfather was Gary John Neeleman (the son of John Peter Neeleman and Ethel Lillian Steele). John was born in Utah, the son of Simon Neeleman and Johanna Reinking. Ethel was born in Utah, the daughter of Thomas George Steele and Hannah Rosamond Bush.

Zach’s maternal grandmother was Rose Maurine Lewis (the daughter of Raymond W. Lewis and Ruth Brown). Ruth was born in Arizona, the daughter of Francis Wiley Brown and Martha Whitling.

    Would love for the sleuths, here, to document this. Because while the Native Hawaiian ancestry is a big part of the media’s story, I’ve not been able to find anything definitive aside from passing mentions; I’ve only been able to find articles saying that his dad’s parents moved there. And to be clear, I’m not saying he doesn’t have any, butit’d be nice to helpful to it documented for confirmation.
