Tihomir Orešković is a Croatian-Canadian businessperson and politician. He has been Prime Minister of Croatia, from 22 January, 2016 to 19 October, 2016. He was CEO and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Croatian pharmaceutical Pliva, head of European financial management for Israeli Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, and CFO for Teva’s division of global generics.
He is the son of Đurđa (Ladić) and Dane Orešković. When he was an infant, his family moved to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, where he spent most of his early years. Tihomir entered Croatian politics in 2015. He is married to Sanja Dujmović, with whom he has four children.
Tihomir’s paternal grandfather was named Dane Orešković (the son of Stjepan Orešković).
