Shaina Magdayao is a Filipino actress, dancer, singer, and model. She started her career as a child, and has appeared in the films Four Sisters and a Wedding, Villa Estrella, On the Job, and Tagpuan. She has worked for Star Magic and ABS-CBN, and is also known for her charity works. She is also known as Shin, Ina, Shai, Maggie, and Shadam, and the “Empress of Drama” and “Queen of Afternoon Drama.”

Shaina is the daughter of Deanne and Enrique Magdayao. She is the younger sister of actress, singer, entrepreneur and model Vina Morales. Her nephew is archer and actor Luis Gabriel Moreno.

Shaina’s great-grandfather, Orval Hughes, was an American soldier, who was an abaca plantation owner in Davao.
