Ross’ maternal grandmother was Gladys Alvilda Thompson (the daughter of Peter Thompson and Thea O. Everson). Peter was born in Norway, and was the son of Peder Torstensen/Thompson and Tolline Pedersdtr/Pedersdotter, who were from Gran, Oppland County. Thea was the daughter of Norwegian parents, Ever Everson and Anne Andersdtr/Andersdotter, who were also from Gran.
