    UPDATE

    * Roger’s maternal grandmother was Vera Meyer (the daughter of James Sandilands and Mabel Lilian Muller). Vera was born in Cape, South Africa. James was the son of Jacobus Esias Meyer and Jessie Sandilands. Mabel was the daughter of Helgard Jacobus Wilhelm Muller and Margaretha Isabella Meyer.

Vera’s ancestry was heavily German, with some Scottish (the origin of Sandilands surname that is not Afrikaner), French Huguenot, Dutch and Portuguese (Ferreira line again, a couple of times). Roger has also distant Danish ancestry on his whole mother’s side.

Also cut the “(focusing on his own mother’s side)” on the last link: Genealogy of Roger’s maternal great-great-great-grandfather, Carel Jacobus Viljoen (focusing on his own mother’s side). It shows his descendancy to KROTOA.
