Robinson Canó is a Dominican Republic-American professional baseball player. A second baseman, he played for the New York Yankees, the Seattle Mariners, the New York Mets, the San Diego Padres, and the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball (MLB).

His father, José Canó (Joselito Canó Soriano), was also a professional baseball player. Robinson lived in New Jersey for a few years as a teenager. He has a son. Robinson became a U.S. citizen in 2012.

    I think if Jose Reyes, Hanley Ramirez, David Ortiz etc. are Afro-Dominican so should Robinson Cano.
