She has modeled for Emanuel Ungaro, Vogue, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, JLO, Chanel, Elle, Lancôme, Victoria’s Secret, XOXO, TNG, Pepe Jeans, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, H&M, Marie Claire, and Ann Taylor, and worked as a fashion reporter for Jornal Record.
She is the youngest of three children of Maria da Conceição Oliveira and Jehovah de Melo Brito. She has two brothers, Givago, an economist, and Pablo, a lawyer. Raica graduated from the Sao Vicente de Paula school in Niteroi. She speaks Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Raica’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced to her third great-grandfather, Onofre Machado de Cerqueira (c. 1828, Piauí – September 4, 1903, Piracuruca, Piauí).
Raica’s paternal grandfather was Aderson Rodrigues de Brito (the son of Tertulino Rodrigues de Brito and Joana Batista de Brito). Tertulino was the son of Mariano Pereira de Cerqueira and Perpétua Rodrigues de Brito. Joana was the daughter of Clementino de Brito Passos and Isabel Batista da Conceição.
Raica’s maternal grandmother was Zeneide de Brito Melo (the daughter of Beneas de Moraes Melo and Avelina de Brito Melo). Beneas was the son of Abilio de Moraes Melo and Lina Rosa de Jesus. Avelina was the daughter of Eduardo de Brito Passos and Maria Rosa de Melo.
