Rachel Ticotin is an American film and television actress.

Rachel is the daughter of Iris Torres and Abraham “Abe” Ticotin. Her paternal grandparents were Russian Jewish immigrants. Her mother is from Puerto Rico. Among Rachel’s siblings are musician Sahaj (born Daniel Ticotin) and actress, dancer, and singer Nancy Ticotin.

Rachel is married to actor Peter Strauss. She has a daughter with her former husband, actor and producer David Caruso.

Rachel’s paternal grandfather was named Isidor/Isador Ticotin.
