Poo Bear is an American is an American songwriter, singer, and music producer. He is also known as Poo Bear and MDMA.

Poo Bear is the son of Dolores and John Boyd. He spent much of his childhood in Atlanta, Georgia. He is married to Ashley Joi Sadler, with whom he has a son.

Poo Bear’s maternal grandfather was Frederick Douglas “Fred” Funderburg (the son of Robert Lee Funderburg and Leela Johnson). Frederick was born in Anniston, Alabama. Robert was the son of George Washington Funderburg and Ophelia Blassingame Hugley, who was of half Muscogee Native American descent.

Poo Bear’s maternal grandmother was Annie Laura Ball (the daughter of Eli Whitney Ball and Cora Curry). Annie was born in Oxford, Alabama. Eli was the son of George Ball and Lela Richie. Cora was the daughter of Richard Curry and Idella “Ida” Westbrook.
