Padma Lakshmi is an Indian-American author, activist, actress, model, philanthropist, and television host. She is known for hosting Top Chef, and for her show Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi.
Padma was born in Madras, now Chennai, into a Tamil Brahmin family. Her mother, Vijaya, is an oncology nurse. She moved to the U.S. at the age of four, and was raised in New York City, New York, and then La Puente, California.
Padma has a daughter with her former partner, venture capitalist Adam Dell. Adam is the brother of businessperson Michael Dell, of Dell Technologies.

She looks like Jessica Alba mixed with Halle Berry. Jessica Alba is half Mexican (she looks 100% though) and Halle Berry is half black. I’m pretty sure this woman is mixed with Hispanic and black. She doesn’t look like your average Indian woman.

Indians are very diverse in looks. There is over 1 billion people and it spans a big area. India is a sub-continent so there are big differences in the people from North to South. There is black people in the south to people that are very light in colour with different genetic influences. Have a google at some of the variety. These are 2 examples below but there are a lot of different groups in India.
