Olly Alexander is an English musician, singer, songwriter, actor, and LGBT activist. His roles include the series Summerhill, Penny Dreadful, and It’s a Sin, and the films Bright Star, Tormented (2009), Enter the Void, Gulliver’s Travels (2010), The Dish & the Spoon, Great Expectations (2012), Le Week-End, God Help the Girl, and The Riot Club. He was the lead vocalist of synth-pop band Years & Years, and has released solo music, including his song “Dizzy.”
Olly is the son of Vicki and David Thornton. His mother is one of the founders of the Coleford Music Festival.
