Megan Follows is a Canadian actress.

She is the daughter of actress Dawn Greenhalgh (Hazel Dawn Greenhalgh) and actor and director Ted Follows. Megan’s mother was born in Shanghai, China. During World War II, she and her family lived in an internment camp in China as Japanese prisoners of war.

Megan has two children with her former husband, gaffer and photographer Christopher Porter.

Her siblings are writer Edwina and actors Laurence and Samantha Follows. Samantha is married to actor Sean O’Bryan.

Megan’s paternal grandfather was Edward James Follows (the son of Frederick Follows and Ada Louisa Seymour). Edward was English.

Megan’s paternal grandmother was Isabella/Isabel Jeanette Douglas Latimer (the daughter of Archibald Douglas “Archie” Latimer and Helen/Helena Theresa/Teressa “Ella” Maroney/Maraney).
