Lux Interior was an American singer. He was a founding member of rock band The Cramps. He was also known as Raven Beauty and Vip Vop.

Lux grew up in Stow, Akron. He was married to Ivy. He had a son.

Lux’s paternal grandfather was Clifton Reed Purkhiser (the son of John Preston Purkhiser and Vianna Osburn). Clifton was born in Talihina, Oklahoma, and had deep roots in the U.S. John was the son of Virgil Purkhiser and Minerva Jane Payne. Vianna was the daughter of Jesse Osburn and Lydia Ann Keaton.

Lux’s paternal grandmother was Julia May Descutner (the daughter of Sebastian Joseph Descutner and Léonie “Leona” Gerard). Julia was born in Vernon, Missouri, to Walloon Belgian parents.

Lux’s maternal grandfather was Gerald Ambrose Bradley (the son of Michael Bradley and Mary Ann Bradley). Gerald was born in Manhatta, New York City, to Irish parents, from County Cork. Michael was born in Boherbue, and was the son of Jeremiah Bradley and Nora Cronin. Mary Ann was the daughter of Maurice Bradley and Ellen Horgan.

Lux’s maternal grandmother was Rosa C. Kessler (the daughter of Elias Kessler and Rosa Muller). Lux’s grandmother Rosa was born in Manhattan, New York City. Elias was a German emigrant, from Maulburg, Baden-Württemberg, and was the son of Elias Kessler and Marie Meier. Lux’s great-grandmother Rosa was born in Peterson, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph Muller and Therese Berra, who were likely German.
