Logan Browning is an American actress. She is known for starring in Bratz: The Movie and on the series Meet the Browns, Dear White People, and Powers. On Dear White People, she played Samantha White, a biracial character.
Logan has stated that she was adopted, and that her biological father is black and her biological mother is white. Her adoptive parents are black.
Some mixed race/ancestry folk get tired of people constantly asking What Are You Mixed With? So, they just say nothing>>>> in reguards to their racial/ancestral background.
Bingo, we get tired of people (sadly mostly it is other black people) asking crazy questions.
I was in a store the other day and some woman and her daughter alsmost fell into me because they were looking at my hair. Creepy and weird. They moved along once I turned around and looked at them, however I could overhear them making some remark about ‘oh she must be a blah blah blah’
Give it a rest, who cares just enjoy life and be glad you have food, a job and a roof over your head. Be glad you aren’t living in Sudan or some of the South Asian countries.
The definition of African-American= People with original ANCESTORS from Africa. Over the past several generations their ancestors have also come to include numerous European strains and to a lesser extent some Native American lines. (Watch African American lives). The absolute “BLACKEST” looking African American is at least 1/8 white from a variety of European lineages. (thank the “original American deadbeat dads”, AKA white slaveholders/rapists, for fathering millions of children with African slaves and never claiming them.
As noted in most collegiate US history textbooks “White slaveowners were some of the wealthiest men in the the world. Had they divided their estates among ALL of their children, rather than only their handful of white kids, a fairly wealthy class of blacks would have arisen in time. That didn’t happen, and that’s just the nature of the dark side of man.
That said, there is good on the other side of every evil. The human race grows more beautiful everyday as a result of mixing. This is not because any race is more beautiful than another, but because the merging of people as one is beautiful. We see only the physical product without recognizing the it’s true inherent value. Human nature of blindness. She does not look like a white girl with brown skin. She looks like a gorgeous young woman with brown skin, blue eyes, full lips, and other features.
Let’s not look at beauty on such a surface level. It is more important to understand WHY we see some things as beautiful, than it is to note the obvious.
