Giovanni van Bronckhorst, full name Giovanni Christiaan van Bronckhorst, is a Dutch professional footballer and manager. A midfielder and left-back, he played for Feyenoord, RKC Waalwijk, Rangers, Arsenal, and Barcelona, and the Dutch national team. He has managed Feyenoord, Guangzhou R&F, and Rangers.
He is the son of Fransien Sapulette, who is Indonesian (Moluccan), and a Dutch father. His stepfather is Victor van Bronckhorst, who is of Indonesian and Dutch descent. Giovanni is married to Marieke, with whom he has two children.
