Ezra Miller is an American actor, model, singer, and musician. Ezra has had leading roles in the films Afterschool, City Island, Beware the Gonzo, Every Day, Another Happy Day, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Madame Bovary, The Stanford Prison Experiment, Trainwreck, and DalĂland, and the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and DC Cinematic Universes, the latter as Barry Allen / The Flash; and appeared on television’s Royal Pains and The Stand (2021).

Ezra’s parents are Marta and Robert S. Miller. Ezra’s father worked at Hyperion Books and Workman Publishing, and Ezra’s mother is a modern dancer.

Ezra’s father is from a Jewish family; of German Jewish, Russian Jewish, and Austrian Jewish descent. Ezra’s maternal grandfather was of German and Dutch ancestry, while Ezra’s maternal grandmother’s parents were German immigrants. In an interview for the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, 2012, Ezra stated that “I totally consider myself a Jew,” and “spiritual.”

A picture of Ezra’s father can be seen here. A picture of Ezra’s mother can be seen here. A picture of Ezra’s maternal grandmother can be seen here.

Ezra has also said:

…my immediate family is amazing. I recently found out that on my mother’s side I may be descended from the Jewish who first invented the cold cut so I have the greatest lineage of all time because cold cuts are the greatest.

It is not clear what ancestor Ezra was referring to.

Internet rumours maintain that Ezra is related to Japanese rapper and personality Joji (George Kusunoki Miller). This does not appear to be accurate.

Ezra’s paternal grandfather was E. Matthew Miller (the son of Harry Miller and Jean/Jennie Kligman). Ezra’s grandfather Matthew was born in Pennsylvania. Ezra’s great-grandmother Sarah Gerton’s father, Morris Gerton, was a Russian Jewish immigrant, while Sarah’s mother was a Jewish emigrant from either Austria or Russia (depending on the census). Ezra’s grandmother Lois later married Max Kraus, whose son and daughter-in-law are both rabbis, and whose grandson is writer Gideon Lewis-Kraus.

another proof that Ashkenazi were more turkic

    • sitman18 says:

How is this proof? In general he doesn’t look any more “Turkic” than many Mediterranean peoples.

Also DNA evidence has completely disproved any of the ridiculous theories about Turkic origins for Ashkenazi Jews.

    • FrogMarch says:

      Pathetic post.
      Seeing that Ashkenazim aren’t a Turkic people…
      Not genetically, culturally, or linguistically.
Genetically it’s crystal clear that Ashkenazim most closely resemble Greco Roman populations, and not any Turkic populations.

      • Yeravam says:

We cluster with Cretan Greeks and Sicilians, and the only reason for that is because Cretans and Sicilians have a lot of Levantine admixture. Likewise, Ashkenazi Jews have Greek and Italian admixture (which amounts to less than half of the average Ashkenazi genome). We’re a MENA people.

    • Yeravam says:

Ashkenazi Jews are an indigenous Levantine people who acquired some extra Greek/Italian admixture in exile. They are genetically 50-65% Levantine (Israelite) and 30-45% Greek-Roman.

We are not Turks. We are not Europeans either. We are an indigenous MENA people.

International newspapers print the strangest things:
“I recently found out that on my mother’s side I may be descended from the Jewish who first invented the cold cut so I have the greatest lineage of all time because cold cuts are the greatest. So my journey has been different from Credence’s in that regard.”
