He is the son of Martine Moreau, a teacher of French and Latin, and Georges Letissier, a professor of English litterature, who specializes in the Victorian era.

Rahim’s maternal grandfather was Jacques Henri Auguste Moreau (the son of Henri Auguste Moreau and Yvonne Julienne Marie Lezeau), Jacques was born in La-Roche-Sur-Yon, Vendée, Pays de la Loire.
