Most people need to travel, I am a black South American, so I have seen all types of mixes. The so called Hispanic race or world is just a majority of half African and half European peoples, ie. Puerto Ricans, Venezuelans, there is very little Native Indian input, except for Mexico. The rest of Hispanics are black/white mixes, there is no Hispanic race.

    • shobohunter says:

Hispanic is not a race is more of a cultural heritage linguistic categories. phenomena
rather then race Hispanics can be of any race.”
That means there are black, white, even Asian Hispanics. The label “Hispanic” — meaning, “with origins or heritage in Spanish-speaking countries” — was intended by the census to be a category of linguistic and ethnic heritage, not an official “race” of its own. so Venezuelans can’t be Hispanic. because they dont speak Spanish.
      and
most of the Hispanic are white.

    • Girll says:

“there is very little Native Indian input, except for Mexico. ” There is a lot more mestizo dominant Countries in Latin America and Brazil is known for having a lot of tri-racial mixes.

      • midori29 says:

@Girl when the Europeans colonized these areas a lot of the native Indians died out from diseases and the Black Africans replaced hundreds of thousands of them

    • thomas1987 says:

your wrong most hispanics are mestizos( WHITE + NATIVE AMERICAN)

and yes hispanic is not a race

      • midori29 says:

@thomas1987, im not wrong. Most people think its meztizo but alot of the time, its just half black African and half white European. That can create a meztizo look. Venezuela is highly just black and whiye mix and Brazil. Most mullatos dont look like Halle Berry, who looks more on the black side. Most half white black mixes look like Camila Alves above or Mariah Carey and some like Southern European looking.

          @midori

Hi ckecked out Venezuela and official census say

          51.6% Mestizo
          43.6% White
          2.9% Black
          1.2% Others

          What happened?

According to an autosomal DNA genetic study conducted in 2008 by the University of Brasília (UNB), the composition of Venezuela’s population is 60.60% of European contribution, 23% of indigenous contribution, and 16.30% of African contribution

          • Blahby says:

Thanks for actually mentioning DNA studies. People who are a majority of African ancestry commenting on countries that are mostly European/Indigenous…erasing that and replacing it with European/African…for what purpose?

          • midori29 says:

@Andrew I am not denying the indian presence in central and south America and the admixture. But since being African is seen as a lower status in South and Central America ALOT of people hide the fact that they are part African and try to pass as just an Indian and white mixture. Literally people hide the fact that they are part African because they dont want to face more discrimination. The ruling elites in South America and most of central America are white Europeans who still impose thier white ideals of beauty and racism on the native populations and ex slave populations So MANY MANY people hide thier African admixture on the census. Dont believe the census from these countries . You actually have to go live thier and meet the people. The majority of the population is part African. So I would not call that meztizo. Meztizo is only white and Indian.

            @midori29

Quote(Meztizo is only white and Indian.)

Actually , that’s just the definition they pound into peoples head. Mestizo actually just meant mixed. A pure Indian could have called them self Mestizo if he/she just spoke Spanish. That’s one of the reasons, they stop using the word for a long time. Plus since most or the avgas mestizo has African DNA, that makes that definition incorrect. You can’t really trust the mestizos in the other countries for being just (Euro/native) either. In the U.S., Mestizo meant Black and Indian mixed

          • midori29 says:

@Blahby, YES I can comment because I am a black South American and YES I have lived in Venezuela. You cannot believe statistics or the media, you have to travel to those places and interact with the people. Americans think they know what black and white admixtures look like but they do not . Nearly every Venezuelan I ran into in Venezuela had African black admixture. THEY ALL DO. You have to realize that most black Americans and black Carribeans come form the same parts of black subsaharan West Africa but South American blacks come from additional and different parts of black subsaharan Africa . So when they mix with whites they may look alot different than the American biracial that you see in the media.

The person enjoys fooling around, it seems. All she said are lies, there is no doubt about it.

I am myself South American and spent my formative years there, in Southwestern South America. Just throwing this out here, because South American countries are quite different from one another. You can go figure out the country.

    • Leiter says:

Press doubt on that. Whilst you are correct about there not being a “Hispanic race”, the rest sounds like pure trolling.

Bolivia and Peru are known for their indigenous populations, around 9 million people speak Quechua (a native language, the very same the Inca used to communicate in). Argentina and Chile are hardly African, they are castizo in their majority (when you look at their native to white ratio). Also, what do you say about Central American countries such as El Salvador? Their mestizo population is close to a 90%, the rest is almost completely indigenous. Guatemala’s mestizo and indigenous populations make up to 99% of the population there (that’s very close to being a “whole”). Nicaragua is slightly different, with a population of nearly 10% afro-Nicaraguans.

Bottomline: it’s not just Mexico, and you know you are lying.

Now, where exactly in South America do you hail from? Hablas Español o Portugués? Pregunto porque dudo que hables en serio.

Leiter if you’re really Southern American who speak Spanish say me if this Spanish spoken by this other user who claims to be Spaniard from Spain, almost impossibile cause he’s always saying inexact infos about Spaniards and Spain, is proper?
I quite understand the basic level of Spanish cause it’s related to my own native another latin language
I immediately spot his mistake the missing upside down question mark at the beginning of the question on “entiende” it’s a simple grammar rule that Spanish speakers learn as little children lol I rubbed it to him and he didn’t answer me anymore.
So if you’re a native speaker can check it out he says he speaks Catalan too can your understand this language also?

She actually has the Zendaya Coleman Hispanic look, Zendaya Coleman is a direct half African black and half white American mullato , check link: http://www.lazygirls.info/Zendaya_Coleman/Instagram_3RESZctR

    • midori29 says:

@Fuzzy Bear Yes I agree with you. Meztizo in alot of places does mean triracial, white, black and indian mixed. But alot of people only say “meztizo” meaning white and indian mix.

    • Leiter says:

In what universe do they resemble one another? Is it the tan skin? Their species (Homo Sapiens)? The only similarities I can think of are: they both got limbs, a pair of eyes, hair follicles, organs (assuming they are both living beings), a skeleton, blood, oh right I almost forgot, they are both built up by atoms.

Don’t you dare try correcting me, I know they can both see, touch, feel, walk and hear, unless one of them (or both) got a processing disorder but then they would be disabled and that just doesn’t sit right. Or would you object? If you do, then earth is flat and that is simply untrue.

  3. Check7t says:

Looks more North African than Indian, however she could pass in North India.

  4. Princess says:

Wow she is so beautiful. She doesn’t look black at all. Very strange. She looks like an Indian woman.

  5. WTF says:

she does look indian like mya (another mulatta celebrity) but you have to understand that genetics are complicated. some mulattoes do look indian and some look “hispanic” like puerto rican and dominican. i believe that she is black and white.
