Cape Verde is part of Africa in the same way the Canary islands is part of Africa. The population is a mix, and they are all relatively recent immigrants to the islands. The original inhabitants were the Portuguese, as they colonized the island first. Nobody lived there before they came.

Her mum was Italian- which is considerd ‘socially white’ and her dad was cape verden – which is considerd ‘socially black’. However racialy capeverdens are mixed purtogese/african.
Therefore if she had a dna test it would proably come up between 60%white/40%african – 90%white/10%african, thus her actaully dna/race break down can only be estimated!
Why do you think she’s more white?
beacuse one of her parents is ‘white’, (which would give her 50% white dna) and another one of her parents is from a country of race mixing therfore, her capre vedre parent is very likely not to be 100% african, b ut have a bit of portugese in them, therefore her dna will likely be more european than african.
