Patricia Medina was a British-American actress. She was known for her roles in Fortunes of Captain Blood, The Black Knight, Phantom of the Rue Morgue, Mr. Arkadin, and The Killing of Sister George, among many other films. She was also credited as Patricia Medina Cotten.

Patricia was the daughter of Wonda (Strode) and Ramón Medina Nebot. Her father was a Spanish lawyer and opera singer from the Canary Islands. Her mother was English. She was raised in a mansion in Stanmore. Patricia was married to American actor Joseph Cotten, until his death.
