Ellis Jacob is an Indian-Canadian businessperson. He serves as the president and chief executive officer of Cineplex Entertainment.

He was born in Calcutta, to Indian Jewish parents, Tryphosa and Raymond Jacob, born in Kolkata, and descended from Syrian and Iraqi Jews who migrated across the Indian Ocean to India. His family moved to Canada in 1969. He is married to Sharyn, with whom he has two children. Sharyn is Ashkenazi Jewish.
