Him, David Byrne, Kelly MacDonald, and Rose Byrne are the real avarage scots, not Ewan McGregor, Karen Gillan, and Sam Heughan. Scottish, Irish, and Welsh have more in common genetically with iberians than with any northern euro group. Southern english, including cornish people are also basically cousins to the native iberians, especially those in the northwest region of the peninsula.
– I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E 2!
It’s the second time you spot a race correctly maybe your brain it’s starting to works normally!
Kelly McDonaldDuck has partly Amerindian face looks ethnic Spaniard, Byrne, Byrne 2 and Cummin’ yeah correct they look white Northern Spaniards.
Mygal you’re giving uz such intense e-motions!!
What do you base that on? Scottish, Irish and Welsh do no have more in common genetically with Iberians than with any northern Euro group. They all cluster close to other Northern Europeans and are distant to Iberians. Why would they be closer to Iberians than to neighbouring populations?
Because they were segregated from the anglo-saxon and norman elites that controlled Great Britain for centuries, they preserved their ancient heritage, wich overlaps with the ancient celtberians. I’ve seen many brits that look a lot like portuguese-brazillian youtuber Felipe Neto, his ancestry comes from northern Portugal, a lot of welsh, irsh and scots who look like spanish actor Javier Cámara, etc…
If you know anything about genetics populations such as the Irish, Scots and Welsh do not actually have much Continental Celtic dna. The Southeast English actually have more Continental Celtic dna. Irish, Scottish and Welsh cluster with English, Dutch and Scandinavians. Also if you look at any group pictures you can easily tell apart who are Portuguese, Spanish from Irish, Scots and Welsh. They aren’t related populations.
Alice, read this : https://www.hnn.us/article/dna-research-links-scots-irish-and-welsh-to-north-#:~:text=The%20Dublin%20study%20found%20that,people%20from%20the%20Iberian%20peninsula.
The British don’t look anything like the Portuguese and Spanish, just because they have dark features doesn’t mean they are similar.
@jonas
Post better examples of individuals from Portugal/Spain who might look British/Irish. For example Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares looks a bit like Billy Bob Thornton.

Be nice to Jonas. he was dropped on his head as a baby. more than most babies are :-(
they brought your comment back but not mine lol
LMAO i dont care about your insults, Jackson and “myfellow”, none of you would say such things to my face, you guys must be lonely, —-, insecure dorks, saying stupid things about other people on the internet, hiding behind stupid fake names. It’s hilarius how much people on this site bother to put so much negative energy and bitterness into something so trivial. You guys better do some serius soul search and maybe even therapy, this level of gratuitous hatred is not healthy lol…
you make stupid comments on basically every page lol
If that is actual pictures of you Jonas then I would be the last person to call someone ugly.
@urimnak he cant resist my sexy eyebrowns he’s totally in love with me LMAO
why did they remove my comment????
That article is from 2004. Ancient stuff as far as dna studies go. That was before they even knew about the Steppe migrations in Europe. Anyway that same Professor Dan Bradley said this recently. Population geneticist, Dan Bradley of Trinity College Dublin carried out two genetic studies, to debunk the myth of the black Irish, and he found little to no trace of Spanish in Irish DNA. https://www.irishstar.com/culture/nostalgia/black-irish-history-meaning-origin-31633428
I read every dna study on the Irish. It is a waste of time posting genetics from 2 decades ago as things have really changed since that time. They now have ancient genomes and are a lot more advanced. I don’t mean anything offensive but Insular Celts aren’t related to Spanish. Just looking up population distances will tell you that but there are plenty of recent studies on these populations..
The article has some good info on this subject and hás not been categorically disproven at all, its an ongoing debate, with conflicting evidences. This discussion on Quora has some good info about this topic: https://www.quora.com/Are-British-and-Irish-people-connected-to-Iberian-people-genetically
“Yes, British and Irish people have genetic connections to Iberian populations. Genetic studies have shown that there is a shared ancestry between populations in the British Isles and those in the Iberian Peninsula, particularly due to historical migrations and interactions.
Prehistoric Migrations: One of the significant connections comes from the Neolithic period when farming populations migrated from the Near East into Europe, including the Iberian Peninsula, and subsequently into the British Isles. This migration contributed to the genetic makeup of both regions.
The Bronze Age: During the Bronze Age, there were further movements of people across Europe, including from Iberia to the British Isles. These migrations contributed to the genetic diversity found in modern populations.
Genetic Studies: Research, including genome-wide association studies, has found that individuals from the British Isles share certain genetic markers with populations in Iberia, indicating a common ancestry.
Celtic Influence: The Celts, who spread across parts of Europe, including the British Isles and parts of Iberia, also contributed to the genetic connections.
In summary, while British and Irish people have distinct cultural and historical identities, there is a genetic link to Iberian populations due to ancient migrations and demographic events.”
Alan Cumming looks like what he’s.
Scottish.
Just curious as to what you think Scottish people generally look like?
I’m assuming you think they’re all blonde haired and blue eyed, or red-haired and blue eyed?
In the real world of Scotland and Wales, Cumming’s look is literally commonplace and not even remotely out of the norm.
You’re sick and only spreading misinformation in your posts.
Get help before it’s too late.
You are not going to last long, here, thank god.
It’s always funny to find a newbie who comes in who can not read the room, responding to years’ old posts with insults.
neil has been banned
Huh? I wasn’t talking about Neil, obviously.
Can’t see anything at all that is out of line challenging rank ignorance in a forum poster.
I’m a WP site owner myself and would never allow half of these comments on my site to stand, let alone stand nearly wholly unchallenged.
If a site bans posters for challenging rank ignorance and misinformation, what good would it be to be a member of said site?
Instead of threatening me with a ban you might want to perhaps challenge those “years old posts” that are nearly all left alone to fester like a fart in a windowless room.
Why would I want to be a long term member of a site that has posters that ignore idiotic racism/antisemitism, and the rare times a poster does call them out someone comes out from under a rock to threaten me with a ban for challenging it?
I could make my own celeb genealogy WP site if I cared to.
This site is not exactly hard to out do.
Not my thing though.
