Tom Bower was an American actor. His roles included the films Die Hard 2, Raising Cain, Far from Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog, Nixon (1995), North Country, The Hills Have Eyes, Undoing (2006), Appaloosa, Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Crazy Heart, Out of the Furnace, and Light of My Life, and the show Lucky Hank.

Tom’s paternal grandfather was Thomas “Tom” Bower (the son of Fred Lewis Bower and Cora May Ruthroff). Fred was the son of Thomas Bower, who was German, and of Elizabeth Edgar. Cora was the daughter of John Charles Ruthroff, who was German, and of Charlotte Ann Edgar.

Tom’s great-great-grandmother Elizabeth Edgar’s parents, Moses Edgar and Maria Mary Winner, were also the paternal grandparents of Tom’s great-great-grandmother, Charlotte Ann Edgar.

Tom’s paternal grandmother was Eva Bell Allsbrow (the daughter of Stephen Allsbrow and Sarah Ann Allsbrow).

Tom’s maternal grandfather was William Frederick Brenner (the son of John Brenner and Wilhelmina “Minnie” Auberle). William was born in Colorado, to German parents.

Tom’s maternal grandmother was named Emma Charlotte Sohrt. Emma was born in Nebraska, to German parents.
