Nani is a Portuguese professional footballer. A winger, he plays for Adana Demirspor, and has also been with Sporting CP, Manchester United, Fenerbahçe, Valencia, Lazio, Orlando City, Venezia, and Melbourne Victory, and the Portugal national team.
Nani was born in Amadora, Portugal, the son of Maria do Ceu Almeida and Domingos António Cunha David. His parents were from Cape Verde. He was raised by his aunt on the Santa Filomena estate, in Amadora.
