Rick Nash is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger. He was the first overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, and was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets. He is an alternate captain for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League.

Rick is the son of Liz and Jamie Nash. Liz’s maiden name was most likely McLaren. McLaren is a Scottish surname.
