Pavel Nedvěd is a Czech professional footballer. A midfielder, he played for Škoda Plzeň, Dukla Prague, Sparta Prague, Lazio, and Juventus, and Czechoslovakia U21 and the Czech national team. Described as one of the best Czech footballers of his generation, he won the prestigious Ballon d’Or in 2003.

Pavel is the son of Anna and Václav Nedvěd. He is married to Ivana, with whom he has two children.
