Her father, Calvin Cole Young III, an American, has English, Scottish, Scots-Irish/Northern Irish, Welsh, remote Dutch, and remote German, ancestry. Her mother, Victoria Barrientos Talde, is a Filipina from Pandan, Antique. Megan is a cousin of American-Filipino actress and model Max Collins.
Megan is married to model, actor, and newsanchor Mikael Daez.
Megan’s paternal grandfather was Calvin Cole Young, Jr. (the son of Calvin Cole Young, Sr. and Sybil Horn). Megan’s great-grandfather Calvin was the son of Thomas Lee Calhoun Young and Sonora “Nora” Bradshaw. Sybil was the daughter of Christopher Columbus Horn and Mary Nancy Idella Courtney.
