Tyler’s paternal grandmother was Shirley Ann Eder (the daughter of Henry Wolfgang Eder and Eva Elizabeth Ritter). Shirley was born in Missouri. Henry was German. Eva was born in Missouri, the daughter of Ernest/Ernst Ritter, whose parents were German, and of Eva, who was German.
