Ryan Hurst is an American actor. He is known for his roles in the film The Ladykillers and the show Sons of Anarchy.

He is the son of actor Rick Hurst (Richard Douglas Hurst) and Candace Kaniecki, an acting coach. He is married to Molly Cookson. The two co-founded production company Fast Shoes.

Ryan’s paternal grandfather was Robert Paul Hurst (the son of Harry R. Hurst and Josephine L. Delaney). Ryan’s grandfather Robert was born in Colorado. Harry was born in England.

Ryan’s paternal grandmother was Margaret Corinne McElree (the daughter of George Douglas McElree and Gertrude Blanche Bass). Margaret was born in Texas. George was the son of Wilfred Lawson McElree, Sr. and Corinne Burrow. Gertrude was the daughter of William Spencer Bass and Catherine/Katherine A. Martin.

Ryan’s maternal grandfather was Felix Anthony Kaniecki (the son of Julian Kaniecki and Julia Kaminska). Julian was born in Czernin, Poland, the son of John Kaniecki and Antonina Budzinska. Julia was also Polish.

Ryan’s maternal grandmother was Irene Colette Wisniewski (the daughter of Stanislaus Wisniewski and Walery Sokolowska). Irene was born in Ohio, to Polish parents.
