ABSOLUTELY! Both offensive and completelt ignorant. I am white but have been to Africa several times where there is no racial mixng and seen many beautiful African women.

I’m from Barbados and am fully African-Caribbean. My hair has always been super-resistant to any attempts at curling, twisting everything. (think seal pelt). In fact my friends always assumed that I relaxed my hair. One day my older sister and I were on the bus when a woman got on. We both exclaimed “Hello Mum!” at the same time. She looked at us blankly and we realised she was fully Chinese. Bit embarrassing on all sides. I’d always blamed some white colonial ancestor for my hair, but that day I think we discovered where the culprit genes really lay. I’m beginning to suspect that the Chinese nation has been round the planet a lot more than the rest of us ;)

Hm, I have a little similar experience. Except it’s usually other ppl mistaking me for hispanic when I’m chinese, lol. I can’t tell you the number of times someone thinks I’m hispanic, and they walk right up to me and start asking me something in spanish. It’s really awkward because then I don’t know what to say. I’m not really offended by what other people see in me, but it does make me question if somewhere down the line in my family we’re a little mixed. as far as I know, my most recent ancestors (up to back three generations) are all chinese, or at least on my father’s side I am. my mother’s side prior to her grandparents I’m really not so sure about…

why can”t she have chinse in her because she is to black and yes plain black people can have those eyes because we are all linked by dna even though a lot of people dont think so. I am half trinidadian spanish and indian my mother my father black southerner but if you look at my son you would think so because his father is dark but it call resessive genes you never know when you have the mix no matter how far back it goes

She’s never met him but knows so much about his background. Yeah, right. She’s a notorious fibber. A Chinese woman in Jamaica back then is a bit of a stretch. She’s probably part NA but really doesn’t know what she is. She’s full of it.
