Kawhi Leonard is an American professional basketball player. He plays for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has also played for the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors. He is a two-time NBA champion, a five-time All-Star, and a five-time member of the All-NBA Team. He is nicknamed “Claw” or “Klaw.” He is 6′7″.

Kawhi is the son of Kim Robertson and Mark Leonard. His father was shot and killed in 2008, in the Compton car wash that he owned. He was raised partly in Moreno Valley, California. Kawhi is a cousin of professional football player Stevie Johnson. He has two children with his partner Kishele Shipley.

Kawhi’s paternal grandfather was named Henry Francis Leonard.
