Jordin is the daughter of Jodi (Weidmann) and NFL player Phillippi Sparks. Her father is African-American. Her mother, who is white, has German, English, Scottish, and Norwegian ancestry.
Jordin is married to fitness model Dana Isaiah Thomas, with whom she has a son.
Jordin’s paternal grandmother is Guinetta Marie Sparks/Moss (the daughter of Mildred Otheree Climmons/Sparks). Mildred was the daughter of Edna P. Climmons. Edna re-married to Royal/Roy Sparks.
Jordin’s maternal grandfather is Jim Wiedmann (the son of Otto Wiedmann and Leah Gladys Krause). Jordin’s maternal grandmother is Pamela Rutherford (the daughter of James Marvin Rutherford and Gladys I. Gilleshammer). James had English, Scottish, and German ancestry, and was the son of John Nichol Rutherford and Johannah/Hannah Antonette Dahl. Gladys was of Norwegian descent, the daughter of Peter Gilleshammer and May Agnes C. Olsen.

I see that she is part German she looks like it too a little bit, but she looks more black though.
Well I’m African American and French. But actually it really doesn’t matter to me what race you are because it really only matters if you are a good person. Sometimes you can’t pay attention to peoples race and really just pay attention to there behavior and whats on the inside
I couldn’t agree more with you. It’s really so annoying when people are fighting over whether being Italian is white or not and I’m just like, “Who cares? Does being white make her a good or bad person? Of course your race has nothing to do with the person you really are.”

Yeah we don’t see curls like that as much anymore, since many people straighten their hair. My hair is super curly and it makes me feel more insecure to always see celebrities with straighter hair than me, so I personally love this pic!! :D lol
