Guy LaFleur was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988. He was nicknamed “The Flower” and “Le Démon Blond.”

He was the son of Pierrette Marie Therese and Rejean Alfred Joseph Lafleur.

Guy’s paternal grandfather was Damien Lafleur (the son of Eusèbe Lafleur and Joséphine Ménard). Eusèbe was the son of Joseph Eusèbe Biroleau and Valérie Malette/Mallette. Joséphine was the daughter of Benjamin Ménard and Elmire Daoust.

Guy’s paternal grandmother was Eva Dallaire (the daughter of Hilaire Dallaire and Marie Desjardins).

Guy’s maternal grandfather was Leodas Joseph Chartrand (the son of Olivier Chartrand and Elodie LeBlanc). Leodas was born in Prescott, Leeds and Grenville United Counties, Ontario. Olivier was the son of Joseph-Michel Chartrand and and Eugénie-elmire Legault. Elodie was the daughter of Célestin Leblanc and Généreuse Blais.

Guy’s maternal grandmother was Marie Rose Delima Parisien (the daughter of Alphonse Joseph Parisien/Leger and Marie Rose Delima Touchette). Alphonse was the son of David Joseph Parisien and Philomene Bertrand.
