Dennis Morgan was an American actor and singer. He was also credited as Richard Stanley.

He was the son of Grace June and Frank Edward Morner. He was married to Lillian Vedder, until his death, with whom he had three children.

Dennis had remote Mohawk ancestry through Suster Bouts (1650-1690), who was at least part Native American, and who married a Dutch immigrant, Cornelis Cornelissen Viele.

Dennis’ paternal grandfather was Anders Petter Jonasson (the son of Jonas Andersson and Anna Nilsdotter). Anders was a Swedish emigrant, from Faglum, Skaraborg. Jonas was the son of Anders Andersson and Annika Olofsdotter. Anna was the daughter of Nils Larsson and Cathrina Svensdotter.

Dennis’ paternal grandmother was Hanna Jonsdotter (the daughter of Jons Svensson and Hanna Mansson). Hanna was a Swedish emigrant, from Skepparslöf, Kristianstad.

Dennis’ maternal grandfather was Grant Oscar Van Dusen (the son of Oscar Derrick Van Dusen and Emeline Fidelia Ensign). Grant was born in Wyocena, Wisconsin. Oscar Derrick was the son of Lawrence Van Dusen and Susan Van Camp. Emeline was the daughter of William Jones Ensign and Leona Smith.

Dennis’ maternal grandmother was Adelia Robbins (the daughter of Oscar F. Robbins and Ann Clark). Adelia was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Oscar was the son of Jonathan Newman Robbins and Permela Sutliff. Ann was a Scottish emigrant, from Stracathro, and was the daughter of James Clark Georgiana Bain.
