Denholm Elliott was an English actor. He had more than 120 film and television credits, including Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Denholm was the son of Nina (Mitchell), who was born in Scotland, and Myles Layman Farr Elliott, a colonial administrator. He was married to American actress Susan Robinson, until his death. The couple had two children.

Denholm’s paternal grandfather was George Elliott (the son of George Elliott and Susan Kentish Willis). Denholm’s grandfather George was born in Luton, Bedfordshire. George was the son of William Elliott and Mary Oliver. Susan was the daughter of William Willis and Esther Kentish Masters.

Denholm’s paternal grandmother was Charlotte Elizabeth Farr (the daughter of Frederick Farr and Mary Ann Corbishley). Charlotte was born in Luton, Bedfordshire, England.
