Sam Getz is an American singer and guitarist. He is the lead vocalist of blues rock band Welshly Arms.

Sam’s paternal grandfather was Bernard Getz (the son of Grover Ivan Getz and Theresa Mary Wiandt). Bernard was born in Summit, Ohio. He was of mostly German descent, with only his great-grandfather George Ingersoll being of British Isles ancestry.
