Richard T. Jones is an American actor. His roles include the films The Trigger Effect, Event Horizon, The Wood, Lockdown, G, Moonlight Mile, Phone Booth, Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married?, Vantage Point, Super 8, Godzilla (2014), Hot Pursuit, A Question of Faith, and The Public, and television’s Brooklyn South, Judging Amy, Full-Court Miracle, Riding the Bus with My Sister, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, American Horror Story, Narcos, Wisdom of the Crowd, and The Rookie, among other works. He has also been billed by his full name Richard Timothy Jones.

He was born in Kobe, to American parents, Lorene, a computer analyst, and Clarence Jones (Clarence Woodrow Jones), a professional baseball player, from Birmingham, Alabama. His father played for the Nankai Hawks in Osaka at the time. After his father retired in 1978, Richard was raised in Carson, California, and Torrance.
