Tarek El Moussa is an American real estate investor and television personality. He is known for hosting the reality show Flip or Flop, with his now former wife, Christina El Moussa (born Christina Meursinge Haack). Tarek and Christina have two children. Tarek is now married to television personality Heather Rae Young, of Selling Sunset.
He has said:
My dad [Nabil Kamel Elmoussa] was raised Catholic in the Middle East in Lebanon and then Egypt. My mom [Dominique]’s from Belgium and my dad moved to Europe when he was in his late teens.
Tarek’s maternal grandfather’s surname is Arnould.

His father’s name is Nabil Kamel Elmoussa (it seems often to be spelled this way), and he’s 73. He also appears to go by the alias “Bill Arnould,” which quite frankly is bizarre.
Maybe he changed his name to avoid discrimination

And it’s not sure if his father is Lebanese or Moroccan.
It’s funny, because I’ve seen his dad listed as Egyptian or Moroccan. And the “El” is very Egyptian.
Makes me wonder if perhaps the family wasn’t originally Egyptian (Coptic or Muslim) and migrated to Lebanon before migrating back to Egypt?
