Jorge Masvidal is an American mixed martial artist. He competed in the Welterweight and Lightweight divisions, and fought in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Bellator, Strikeforce, Shark Fights, and World Victory Road. He has the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history at five seconds, and has won the symbolic UFC “BMF” Championship belt. He is nicknamed “Gamebred.”

His father is Cuban and his mother is Peruvian. He has launched a mezcal brand, El Recuerdo de Oaxaca Joven, through a partnership with Recuerdo Mezcal. He has three children with his former partner, Jordanian-American entrepreneur Iman Kawa.
