Antonio Tajani is an Italian politician. A member of centre-right party Forza Italia, he has served as Deputy Prime Minister of Italy, and Minister of Foreign Affirs, both, since 22 October, 2022. He was previously President of the European Parliament, from 17 January, 2017 to 3 July, 2019, among other duties.

Antonio is the son of Augusta Nardi and Raffaele Tajani. The Tajani family belongs to Neapolitan nobility, and has origins in Vietri sul Mare, near Amalfi, Salerno. Its records date back to the 1000s. He is married to Brunella Orecchio, with whom he has two children.
