Steve Chen is a Taiwanese-American internet entrepreneur. He co-founded online video sharing platform YouTube, with Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim. He was the site’s Chief Technology Officer. He also co-founded video sharing service MixBit, also with Hurley.

His family moved to Prospect Heights, Illinois, U.S., when he was seven. He is married to Park Ji-hyun/Jamie Chen, who was a Google Korea product marketing manager, with whom he has two children. Steve lives mostly in Taipei, Taiwan.
