Carlos Delgado is a Puerto Rican professional baseball player and coach, and peace activist. Primarily a first baseman, he played for the Toronto Blue Jays, the Florida Marlins, and the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He holds the all-time MLB home run record among Puerto Rican players, with 473.
Carlos is the son of Carmen Digna Hérnandez and Carlos “Cao” Delgado. He is married to Betzaida García, with whom he has two children.
